Deliverail is a logistics service platform specializing in parcel transportation through the Indian Railways network. We connect customers seeking safe, reliable, and affordable parcel delivery with verified railway parcel partners.
2. Service Scope
Deliverail facilitates booking, pickup, loading, and tracking of parcels transported via railway networks.
Our responsibility is limited to coordination and customer support between the sender, transporter, and delivery partners.
Delivery timelines are estimates and subject to train schedules, transit conditions, and operational constraints.
3. Customer Responsibilities
The customer must provide accurate and complete shipment details — including pickup and drop addresses, parcel weight, dimensions, contents, and contact details.
False or incomplete information may result in cancellation, delay, or additional charges.
Customers must ensure their parcels are properly packed to withstand normal transportation conditions.
4. Prohibited and Restricted Items
The following are strictly not allowed:
Hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials
Illegal, counterfeit, or stolen goods
Perishable items or items requiring refrigeration
Cash, jewelry, or valuables without prior declaration and insurance
Deliverail reserves the right to inspect, refuse, or return any parcel that violates these restrictions.
5. Pricing and Payments
All prices displayed or quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR).
The total cost may include base freight, handling, packaging, and applicable taxes.
Payment must be completed before dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Deliverail reserves the right to update rates periodically based on railway charges and operational costs.
6. Liability and Insurance
Deliverail's liability is limited to the declared value of goods or ₹2,000 per shipment, whichever is lower, unless the parcel is insured.
Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery.
We are not liable for delays due to railway disruptions, weather conditions, strikes, or other force majeure events.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Orders may be canceled before shipment pickup.
Once the parcel is dispatched, cancellation is not permitted.
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days after approval.
